Personnel Changes in Supervisory and Management Board of Aesculap AG
With a meeting on July 10, Professor Ludwig Georg Braun ended his mandate as chairman of the Supervisory Board of Aesculap AG. After more than 42 years of being a member, Professor Braun decided not to stand for re-election. With immediate efficiency, Prof. Dr. Heinz Walter Grosse, Chairman of the Management Board of B. Braun Melsungen AG, was unanimously elected to his position.

We are all more than pleased that with Professor Grosse, as new Chairman of the Supervisory Board, a long-time partner of Aesculap will follow him in this position ", said Joachim Schulz, CEO of Aesculap.
Effective August 1, 2018, Dr. Ing. Katrin Sternberg is appointed to the Management Board of Aesculap AG responsible for the Research and Development departments. The Executive Board of Aesculap AG consequently consists of three persons. With Dr. Ing. Sternberg for the first time a woman is appointed to the supreme managing body of Aesculap.
In addition, Dr. Jens von Lackum is appointed Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board with immediate effect. Since 2016 he has been responsible for the departments Marketing, Sales and Human Resources.
