1984 B. Braun India subsidiary was proudly established.
1996 B. Braun established a factory in Ponda, Goa for manufacturing medical disposables. It was then re-located to Chennai in the year 2007, which manufactures IV sets and sutures, right heart catheters along with other blue chip products.
2001 B. Braun products available in the international market, are introduced to market in India
2007 Opening of the production facility in Chengalpet, Tamil Nadu. The factory in Ponda, Goa was then re-located to Chengalpet. IV sets and sutures, right heart catheters along with other blue chip products were manufactured.
2009 Public private partnership (PPP) by government of Andhra Pradesh with B. Braun Medical (India) Pvt. Ltd. for setting up renal care centers
2011 Acquisition of Oyster Medisafe India in April
2011 B. Braun India receives Export Award 2011 during annual review of Indo German Chamber of Commerce
2012 Acquisition of Ahlcon Parenterals India in March
2012 B. Braun is awarded Dialysis Service Provider Company of the year by Frost and Sullivan
